Hi! I am an open minded developer in Tampere, Finland. I studied in Tampere University in 1999-2004 specializing in public economy, regional development and management. I work in a public sector development organisation which deals with municipal cooperation. I am familiar with the areas of public services such as culture, economic development, land use planning and land policy, the development of municipal engineering, climate change and environmental care, public transport infrastructure and social and health care. Actually the clue in our organisation is to mix these areas with each other and develop them hand in hand. Also new innovations are needed in public sector in many ways and that is what I try to think every now and then.
Many questions and ideas are being discussed along the way. The valuable help and assistance provided by a Hub-like creative network especially intrest me. I am also dreaming of setting up a business of my own one day.
SEIJA HIRSTIÖ
I have deep interest in documentaries and currently working on the documentary about young entrepreneurs in Namibia. I have also piloted a free school for children, run family camps in forest and children´s rights is very deep issue for me all together. Also into arts and design. Wish to codirect a documentary in the HUB network! Wish to deepen my experiences about living in ecovillages and be part of the ecological settlement built into HUB network (hope one day)!
